How to apply

The application period for February 2018 (high school) will open on September 11, 2017.

The application period for September, 2018 will open on February 5, 2018.

Step 1

Complete the International Student Application Form.

Step 2

Prepare the following:

  • School/academic records from the past two years translated into English (copies must have a school stamp)
  • Letter of recommendation from the current teacher or principal translated into English
  • Copy of passport (picture page)
  • Custodianship documents

Step 3

Include the application fee.

Step 4

E-mail the application form(s) with supporting documents and application fees to internationalstudents@cbe.ab.ca

Please submit application as one PDF document.

Please note:  this mailbox cannot receive e-mails larger than 10 MB.  If your application package is larger, please create a series of smaller e-mails to send.  If you haven’t received a confirmation back within 24 hours that the application has been received, please follow up with us as it may not have been received on our end.

Step 5

Mail attested copies of your transcripts to:

Step 6

You will be notified within two weeks of receipt of a full application package if the application has been accepted (please note a Skype interview may be requested before acceptance). An invoice will be issued for payment of full tuition, health insurance and other applicable fees. The Letter of Acceptance will be issued once all fees have been paid in full.

Step 7

Once the Letter of Acceptance has been received, the student must apply for a study permit at the nearest Canadian embassy/consulate.
